AI Founder Weekly

Tibo's agent-run YouTube channel passes 1,000 views

The channel picks its own topics, writes, renders and posts daily, and Tibo says two videos are now above a thousand views.

Tibo says the first video on his fully agent-run YouTube channel broke 1,000 views, with a second video also above 1k and the first still growing after being scheduled.

The channel is called "How It Actually Works". Tibo set it up after one of his explainer videos did 600K impressions on X, and the premise is that nobody touches it day to day. Every day it picks a topic, writes the script, makes the video and posts it. Topics so far include how Shazam recognises a song in seconds, what really happens when you delete a file, and how a contactless card works without a battery.

The stack

Revid makes the videos. Squad runs the agent that picks topics, writes them and schedules them through PostSyncer. Tibo posted his calendar alongside the setup, where green checks are videos that went out by themselves and blue ones are already queued.

The target he set is 1M+ views by December 31st, which he called his last challenge of 2026. Measured against that, a thousand views on one video is a rounding error. Measured against the usual fate of automated content, which is to go out every day and get watched by nobody, it is the first sign the thing is being watched at all.

The business read

What makes this worth following is not the view count, it is that the whole experiment is dated and public. A lot of founders are quietly pointing agents at content channels right now and almost none of them publish the numbers, so you get the before shot and never the after. Tibo has a stated target, a deadline and a calendar of what shipped, which means in a few weeks there will be an actual answer rather than a vibe.

The open question is whether views on individual explainer videos turn into a subscribed audience, or whether an unattended pipeline just produces a long tail of things people click once and forget. Tibo's own framing is about learning rather than distribution. He wrote that there are people who absolutely love to learn new stuff, and he asked people to subscribe. Nobody knows yet whether that converts.

Treat the numbers as what they are, one founder's own screenshot of his own channel, early and small. The useful part is the structure. If you want to test whether agents can run a content channel without a human in the loop, this is roughly what the setup costs you in moving parts, three tools and a schedule, and this is roughly what the first results look like.
