DHH says buy a cheap always-on box and run your agents there
DHH says every developer needs an "AI shed", an always-on machine on your tailscale network where most of your agents run, so you can close the laptop lid without killing them. His is a Minisforum MS-A2, but he says a Beelink box with an 8745HS or similar does the job for most things.
Get a good shed, and you don't even need your laptop to be all that powerful.
