OpenAI halves the API value of the $200 Pro plan
OpenAI's Tibo says the reopened Pro $200 plan will net out at half the API spend of the old one. Theo, meanwhile, says he burned $2,200 a week of Opus on a single $200 Claude sub.

Theo says he ran three Claude accounts down to 0% since Opus 5.5 shipped, and that a $200 Claude Code subscription yields roughly $9,000 of Opus usage a month. He puts the three accounts' usage at $2,086, $2,442 and $2,182, an average of about $2,200 a week.
